Rhythms of Nature Earth Base Children Schooling
Rhythms of Nature promotes towards programs that create healthy environments allowing children with natural and social learning experiences just as our ancestors. Where children can release from technology and engage their curious minds with limitless options that the beautiful Mother Earth provides. Inviting children to tap into their innate capacity to learn through unstructured play in nature. Where creating an atmosphere where healthy development branches to the next generation of creative thinkers, artist, collective leaders and protectors of the Mother Earth.
Rites of Passage to Manhood (for boys 14 yrs-18 yrs) - Sign Up for July
- 3 Weekends for ALL Ages (8 yrs and under will need to be accompanied by a guardian)
- $1,600 includes materials
- Full Package - 11 Days for teen boys entering Rites of Passage. 3 weekends with community and 5 day Immersion
We welcome and appreciate any parent or guardian volunteers to be apart of this program.
During these 11 days the first 3 weekends will be to connect with each other and nature. As we bring the young men each day through basic traditional teachings. There will be wilderness teachings and a craft day making an item in preparation for the 5 day rites of passage. We do this while inviting the men who surround the youths to join the process and be apart of the rites of passage along with all family and friends during community gatherings. Example below:
EXAMPLE: Month of July
First weekend of July (Sat- Sun) Wilderness Teachings/Crafts - Making a medicine pouch for offerings, and grounding staff/spear. 2nd weekend - Wilderness Teachings/ Crafts - Collecting materials and creating a bow drill set for friction fire with sacred fire teachings. 3rd weekend - Wilderness teachings/ Crafts - Birthing and creating a Shamanic hand drum. 4th weekend OFF - For resting preparing Mind, Body, and Spirit for Rites of passage. 5th week - Morning community ceremony for send off/ 5 day 4 nights rites of passage/ Last Morning - Community Welcoming back ceremony as the youth boys come back as young men.

Continued mentoring after rites of passage For deeper nature connection and education, wildlife tracking, bird language, survival skills, bow hunting skills, plant identification, leading to winter tracking and optional hunting rites of passage honoring the life of an animal in sacred manner.
