Meet your Founder and Wilderness Guide

David Womack

David Womack is a seasoned wilderness guide, carpenter, and devoted family man with a lifelong connection to the natural world. Raised in the woods and mentored by his grandfather in the art of hunting, David developed deep respect for wildlife and honed essential survival skills from a young age. With 12 years of experience as a first responder, he brings sharp decision-making, risk assessment, and leadership under pressure to every outdoor endeavor.

David’s global travels and time spent with Amazonian tribes have enriched his understanding of diverse survival techniques, while his education at a wilderness college cemented his foundation in bushcraft, navigation, and emergency preparedness. For the past seven years, he has guided rites of passage and survival programs with Rhythms of Nature, inspiring others to reconnect with the land and their inner strength.

Now balancing full-time construction work and guiding with raising a family, David leads with grit, grounded wisdom, and a passion for teaching resilience through nature.
