Meet your Founder and Wilderness Guide
David Womack
David has been an avid Outdoorsman his entire life. Growing up with his Grandpa teaching him skills of learning the woods on a deeper level while hunting and fishing.
Soon after High School David became a first responder for emergency leaks in the chemical plants for 12 years, then finally hung his hat of that trade to find deeper meaning.
He sold his home and belongings down to a backpack, Seeking wilderness adventures around the globe, from the extreme desert to the back country mountains. Experiences even included Living with the Shipibo & Ashanika Tribes in the Amazon.
His world travels also led him to deepening his studies at Alderleaf wilderness college a 9 month immersion program focusing on a transformative journey of deep nature connection, wilderness skills, and self-discovery within a supportive community.
Later apprenticing with One of his dearest Elders, Dr. David Thomson, Founder of Sacred Circles Institute with his wife Mattie, authors of "Walking the sacred wheel". Teaching indigenous spirituality from many backgrounds along with deeply rooted Native American Blackfeet traditions with Chief Keith Moon.
David continues his studies and ancestral skills while guiding others through the wilderness. His goal is to create a community through building deeper relationship with nature and incorporating teachings that help you step more into your own power with connection to our ancestral roots. All of this with intentions of building a foundation for the next generations to come.
Andrea Womack | Co-Owner | Teacher | Program Developer
Passionate about community, the arts, and the earth; Andrea grew up traveling the world with her mother and living in different countries at a very young age. Her travels and upbringing became the catalyst for her humanitarian worldview and awareness.
After she started her own holistic business at 19 crafting herbal products and jewelry she organized many community events, fundraisers, and festivals.
Andrea studied for a year with a Tibetan monk focusing on Shamanic Vajra healing at age 20 and has practiced while teaching body work within different states around the country.
Andrea has worked with children and adolescence in many different settings from being a pre-k teacher assistant, An ABA therapist for Autistic children, Nannying newborns to age 8 for 6+ years, a Director for a Wilderness Education Summer camps, and more recently a Mentor/Coordinator/Yoga teacher at an Adolescent Boys Mental health treatment center.
Andrea enjoys holding nurturing and creative space for children to learn about themselves and the natural world.
Andrea has her Bachelors in Psychology , a Minor in Medicine and Society, certification in Clinical Hypno-therapy. Her passions include working with children, Herbalism, traveling , learning about the earth, bringing back the ancestral ways, community, and inspiring deep change in others.
